Last year we designed over ten different tiny homes and unique spaces. From backyard office spaces to nomadic living trailers, each design had its own narrative and style ranging from southwestern design to contemporary eclectic flare. After spending countless hours designing and sourcing the perfect items for these spaces, we found several products that we would absolutely use again and could work in almost any tiny space. Flexible Reading Light with Charging Port
Anyone who has designed for an Airstream knows how important “flexibility” is. Not only for the inevitable moments of frustration that are bound to happen, but in the items that we choose.
This gooseneck reading light is a perfect example of sleek design that works double time providing illumination at any angle and has the means to keep you charged.
LED Light Strips that Feature Soft & Warm Lighting
We LOVE using LED stripes in tiny spaces and trailers because it adds light with minimal space required. It is also one of the most cost-effective ways to add ambiance to a space. However, many LED strips get a bad rap as many have over-saturated colors and offer no diffusion.
This option is one of our favorites because it has a built-in diffuser strip and features a warm white color, easy too install and immediately elevates any space. Although this strip is one color, the brand offers an RBG option.
Kitchen Sink Workstation
Talk about making your space work harder for you, this kitchen sink has all the bells and whistles. Maximize your countertop space with a cutting board insert, strainer and drying rack. We highly recommend trying out this product if you’re redesigning your tiny home kitchen.
Rechargeable Wall Light with Motion Sensor
How cute are these?! These rechargeable sconces are not only great because you can mount them anywhere without having to worry about hardwiring or finding a plug, but they also have motion sensors AND can be used as a flashlight once taken off the magnetic wall mount. One of our favorite finds last year!
Waterless RV Toilet
Ok, ok…not the sexiest of items. BUT I if I had a nickel every time I had a client ask me how they can get around the dreaded black tank, then I would have a lot of nickels. This is my first go-to option for those who don’t want to deal with or install a black tank. Sure there are other products out there like the very eco-friendly compost toilet but who wants to grind up their…you know. So take a look at this bag-able waste option that makes taking care of business a breeze.
Fan-Tastic Roof Fan
With remote and rain-sensor, this roof-mounted fan takes one less thing off your plate to thing about. And for those who prefer the analog approach the brand offers a manual option as well.
Mountable Drawer Accesory
For some reason, modern desks have an aversion to drawers. And when you’re limited on space, any additional storage counts.
We liked this option because of the variety of wood grain options to best fit your desk and the fact it is adhesive for easy installation. There are clear plastic options as well.

We used this gem over a modular desk-turns-bed banquette AND over a coffee bar. A perfect option when electrical outlets are limited and you want something hanging but perhaps want to take it down for protection during transit.

Oh so edgy. In a small space it’s important to consider the little things. Like will I get snagged on this cabinet hardware every time I pass through the kitchen? These edge pulls are the perfect solution to maximizing every inch! And don’t forget the cabinet magnets or latches to ensure everything secure during transit!
